Hard hitting drums, catchy guitar riffs and hooks combined with a chorus that gets stuck in your head and won’t come out.

9. Wolf Alice - Passenger Seat

Ellie Rowsell relates the vulnerability of relinquishing control in a relationship to an otherwise mundane task.

The consummate pros created an album worthy of consideration amongst their best. A great hook from a heavy, rhythmic riff and Chino’s unique vocal should qualify it for their stacked setlist.

Unapologetically catchy. The New Zealand brothers bring funk and groove to indie rock with an introspective outro that shows they’re capable of more.

LUNDI - TOP 10 SONGS

10. Big Thief - Words

It wouldn’t be a top 10 without some form of Big Thief. Electric pianos give a fuzz over doubled percussion that lands as a reminder that they’re still one of the most skilled bands around.

9. Racing Mount Pleasant - Racing Mount Pleasant

From the album titled Racing Mount Pleasant. So good they named it thrice. Chamber pop that delivers urgency and structure with impeccable pacing.

Best listened to on killer headphones. The modulating synths and heavy bass spacing across the left and right speaker is a diabolical treat. Fresh and haunting, a band delivering tracks unlike any other.

5. Clipse ft. Kendrick Lamar - Chains & Whips

Everything rap should be. A perfect diss track that does not aim for personal insults but takes you down merely because you aren’t anywhere near their level of skill and fame.

4. Wednesday - Townies

Down to earth recall of the mainstays in your hometown. Perfectly accurate to my own upbringing brought to life by a story telling master.

3. Wet Leg - Mangetout

Female diss track for all of manhood. Confidence oozes from Wet Leg as they deliver a Stroke’s like performance. Wouldn’t wanna be ya.
