Epitomizing the experience of a European excursion where the artist attempts to find new meaning for her life.
7. Balu Brigada - Backseat
Hard hitting drums, catchy guitar riffs and hooks combined with a chorus that gets stuck in your head and won’t come out.
6. Ninajirachi - iPod Touch
Gen Z ode to an introvert’s life, through the lens of an electronic artist. Heavy bass with synth and drum arrangements influenced by the EDM boom of the 2010s.
5. Clipse - Ace Trumpets
Lead single from a modern rap classic. Legends delivering a song that personifies their comeback after a long layoff.
4. Anna Von Hausswolff - Stardust
Gothic aesthetic with brass instrumentation, poetic language and a breathtaking vocal. Simply powerful songwriting.

Personal and sensitive story on the ghosts still living in Karly’s hometown. Vivid imagery paired with a great tempo.

This talented indie outfit continue to experiment with their sound and Townies is their best mix yet. A grungy, alt-rock and country infused jam over Karly Hartzman’s tongue in cheek lyrics.
7. Deftones - Milk of the Madonna
The consummate pros created an album worthy of consideration amongst their best. A great hook from a heavy, rhythmic riff and Chino’s unique vocal should qualify it for their stacked setlist.
6. Balu Brigada - Backseat
Unapologetically catchy. The New Zealand brothers bring funk and groove to indie rock with an introspective outro that shows they’re capable of more.
5. JID w/ Clipse - Community
A young rapper on the rise paired with a veteran duo on a legendary comeback tour. JID, Pusha and Malice each share hard hitting verses on community struggles.
4. Ninajirachi - Fuck My Computer
The Australian DJ uses her beloved device to bring her chaotic tribute to life. Impossible not to bop to this one.
3. Turnstile - BIRDS
One of the hottest live bands in the world deliver another can’t miss stadium anthem.
2. Clipse - So Be It
Pharrell laid the haunting beat and the Virginia brothers coined their layered verses with conviction.
1. Geese - Taxes
A troubled, tortured build to a payoff that injects you with life. On a breakthrough album full of great moments, Geese provided the best of the year.
LUNDI - TOP 10 SONGS
10. Big Thief - Words
It wouldn’t be a top 10 without some form of Big Thief. Electric pianos give a fuzz over doubled percussion that lands as a reminder that they’re still one of the most skilled bands around.
9. Racing Mount Pleasant - Racing Mount Pleasant
From the album titled Racing Mount Pleasant. So good they named it thrice. Chamber pop that delivers urgency and structure with impeccable pacing.
8. Perfume Genius - It’s A Mirror
Loose acoustic guitar strings combined with bluesy electrics and offset percussion creates a perfect arrangement for a heartfelt retelling of finding yourself amongst the internal darkness.
7. Deftones - Milk of the Madonna
Masters of their craft on display. Well-deserved flowers given to critical darlings in 2025. An already storied career yet still delivering some of their best music ever.
6. Model/Actriz - Vespers
Best listened to on killer headphones. The modulating synths and heavy bass spacing across the left and right speaker is a diabolical treat. Fresh and haunting, a band delivering tracks unlike any other.
5. Clipse ft. Kendrick Lamar - Chains & Whips
Everything rap should be. A perfect diss track that does not aim for personal insults but takes you down merely because you aren’t anywhere near their level of skill and fame.
4. Wednesday - Townies
Down to earth recall of the mainstays in your hometown. Perfectly accurate to my own upbringing brought to life by a story telling master.
3. Wet Leg - Mangetout
Female diss track for all of manhood. Confidence oozes from Wet Leg as they deliver a Stroke’s like performance. Wouldn’t wanna be ya.
2. Wolf Alice - Bloom Baby Bloom
Seductive, sweet and fierce. An infectious piano and bass pairing draped in one amazing vocal performance.
1. Geese - Taxes
The best song on the best record. Sometimes it’s really that simple. Geese win 2025.
